Sound Familiar?
A spreadsheet mailed around on Wednesday and hand-scored on Monday night
272 games over 18 weeks, most of them kicking off in the same Sunday window. Whoever runs the sheet spends Monday night entering results instead of watching the game.
Picks arrive in the group chat, by text, and on a paper sheet left on someone's desk. You're transcribing them before the Thursday night kickoff, then arguing about who really got theirs in.
Everyone who has a bad September is out of the season race by Halloween — and the moment there's nothing left to win, half the pool quietly stops picking.
How It Works
Up and Running in Minutes
Create Your Pool
Name your pool, set what a correct pick is worth, choose the week you start scoring from, and share an invite link.
Make Your Picks
Week 1
1 pt / Pick

Everyone taps a winner for every game on the slate — no scores to enter. Each game locks at its own kickoff, so the Sunday night game stays open long after Thursday's. The week's last kickoff also takes a predicted combined score.
Watch the Tables
Results land automatically. The weekly table settles the week — ties broken by that combined-score call — while the season table carries the running total.

Real feedback from real users on Reddit.
“Cool, our group is going to give your app a try this year. Logged into RunYourPool for the first time in a while and can't understand what they've become lol. Tough to navigate now.”
My family and I are very grateful for this app! It's so user-friendly. Thank you for making this!!
I appreciate all the work you've put into this so far. It's shockingly hard to find a good playoff pick'em…
Just wanted to say my group has really enjoyed the site thus far. Will keep thinking of improvements. Another obvious use would be March Madness.
I recommend it for a straightforward and easy to use March madness style bracket challenge! Great job!
Thank you for doing this! Doing a fun money challenge with the boys! Gotta get that fantasy money back somehow hahaha
Thanks for sharing! Was just looking for something to setup a playoff bracket with friends.
Guide
How NFL Pick'Em Pools Work
The NFL Regular Season
Thirty-two teams play 272 games across 18 weeks, from early September to early January. Every team has one bye, so a week is 13 to 16 games spread over Thursday night, the Sunday windows, and Monday night. There's no bracket here: the regular season is the whole competition, which is exactly what a weekly pick'em runs on. (The playoff bracket is its own pool.)
What Is an NFL Weekly Pick'Em Pool?
Each week, everyone picks the winner of every game on the slate. Points come in as the results do, and whoever gets the most right takes the week. It isn't fantasy football — no draft, no lineups, no waiver wire. You pick winners, the app keeps score.
Winner Picks and the Weekly Tiebreaker
Every game is worth 1 point for the right winner by default, and the commissioner can change that when creating the pool. Because everyone is picking from the same 13 to 16 games, ties are the norm rather than the exception — so the week's last kickoff also takes a predicted combined final score, and the closest call wins the week. A game that ends in a tie is void: it scores nothing for anyone, whatever they picked.
Two Tables, One Season
A four-month competition needs something to win before January. The weekly table ranks everyone on that week alone, so a member who joined in November can still win a week outright, while the season table accumulates every scored week for the long race. Both update on their own as results land.
Features
Your Pool, on Autopilot
Pick Winners, Not Scores
Members tap the team they think wins. No spreads, no scores to type, nothing to explain to the person who joined because their kid's team is playing.
A Tiebreaker That Settles the Week
Picking winners ties constantly, so the week's last kickoff also takes a predicted combined final score. Closest call takes the week.
A Weekly Table and a Season Table
Every week crowns its own winner while the season table keeps the long race going. Someone who started 2-6 still has something to win on Sunday.
Games Lock at Kickoff
Each game locks on its own kickoff, so nobody picks a game already being played — and the late window stays open while the early one is underway.
Start at Any Week
Set the week your pool starts scoring from, whether that's the opener or the week the group finally agreed to do this. Earlier weeks simply don't count.
Built by a Commissioner, for Commissioners
I run a playoff pool with my family. Everyone used to email me their picks and I'd enter them into a spreadsheet. Every year it was the same story: chasing people for their picks, updating scores after every game, and manually fixing brackets when things went wrong.
So I built Playoff Pick'Ems to be the tool I wished existed. Just a simple way to run a bracket pool with the people you care about.
