How Premier League Pick'Em Pools Work
The Premier League Season
Twenty clubs play 38 matchweeks between August and May — 380 fixtures, usually ten a week, spread across Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, and the occasional Monday. There is no bracket and no playoff: the League Stage is the whole competition, which is exactly why a pick'em runs so well on it.
What Is a Premier League Pick'Em Pool?
Before each matchweek, everyone predicts the scoreline of every fixture. Points are awarded as the results come in, and the member with the most points takes the matchweek. It is not fantasy football — no squads, no transfers, no wildcards to burn. You pick scores, the app keeps score.
Scoreline Scoring, and Why Draws Matter
Each fixture is worth 3 points for the exact score and 1 point for the correct result — pick Arsenal 2-1 and you take 3 if it finishes 2-1, and 1 if Arsenal win 3-0. A draw is a real, pickable outcome here, not the absence of one: pick 1-1 and a 1-1 pays 3 while any other draw still pays 1. (The commissioner can change both values when creating the pool.)
Two Tables, One Season
A season-long competition needs something to win before May. The weekly table ranks everyone on that matchweek alone, so a member who found the pool in February can win a week outright, while the season table accumulates every scored matchweek for the long race. Both update on their own as results land.
